MASTER BALLET TEACHER & CHOREOGRAPHER CORINA DUMITRESCU


Born in Romania, Corina Dumitrescu starts her career as a dancer in Bucarest, becoming a principal dancer with the Romanian National Ballet shortly after joining it. During her prosperous career, she has interpretatively portrayed dozens of significant figures in classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Giselle, Le Corsaire, La Bayadera, The Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Marguerite and Armand, Anna Karenina, La Sylphide, and many other with companies from Romania and other countries. She has participated in prestigious international ballet galas such as Dance Open or Les Etoiles du 21e Siecle. After finishing her solo career, she began to choreograph and teach for companies and professional ballet schools.
